Woodsmoke Study Meeting

The University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, in conjunction with several other local, state and regional organizations, are conducting air quality monitoring in the Town of Grand Rapids as part of the 2011 Midwest Woodsmoke Study. The purpose of this non-regulatory activity is to provide the town board and citizens of Grand Rapids with information on air quality in the community and the impact of woodsmoke on local air quality levels. A meeting will take place to provide an update of the progress of the study January 17, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 2410 48thStreet South.
