The Town Treasurer is a part-time position and hours vary.

Services

The Town Treasurer is a key town official who is involved in all aspects of financial management for the Town.

Duties

Receipt and deposit all moneys belonging to the Town. Invest funds not immediately needed. Balance monthly financial statements. Collect taxes. Work with Assessor on personal property and illegal assessed bills. Assist with preparation of town budget. Respond to special assessment and property tax inquiries.

Public Information

NOTE: All first installments and/or payments in full for taxes are due on or before January 31 - payable to Town of Grand Rapids Treasurer at the Grand Rapids Municipal Building. All second-half payments of taxes are due on or before July 31 - payable to Wood County Treasurer at the Wood County Courthouse.
